Jonnie West

Warriors Director of Basketball Operations Jonnie West talks about his Memphis roots from his childhood days spanning middle school through high school.

Played high school basketball with Marc Gasol and against former Warriors guard Ian Clark before heading to play in college at West Virginia after moving to Memphis from Los Angeles.

His mom Karen went into labor at a Lakers Playoffs game before giving birth to Jonnie. 

Favorite Memphis BBQ is The Commissary and considers the tour of Elvis’ Graceland home to be a must-see feature of any visit.
