Kim Stone

Chase Center General Manager Kim Stone talks about the first several months of games, concerts and events at Chase Center and how the engineering and technology throughout the building is bringing first-class experiences to fans.

Fell in love with Bay Area while working at Pier 39 in San Francisco during a time period between colleges while living with family in Dublin. Began career after journalism school at the University of North Carolina by working in Sports Information department at the University of Miami, where she also did stats for the Heat.

 Interned for USA Boxing during college. Spent time at the University of Texas as the SID for the Women’s program under Jody Conradt, the Women’s AD and basketball coach.

Worked in PR department for the Heat before helping launch the now-defunct Miami Sol of the WNBA. Was General Manager of American Airlines Arena before joining the Warriors and Chase Center.

Considers Janet Jackson her favorite artist that we’ve hosted at Chase Center and Hot Dog Bills her favorite amongst the Eateries. Notes that the artwork around Chase Center is her favorite feature of the building.

Inducted into the North Carolina PR Hall of Fame in 2014.
